The original 3.4L battery cable harness can be used with this swap when the battery is kept in the engine bay, and is a great means for wiring the charging and starter systems. However, the original battery harness is sometimes lost, severed, or too short.
The 3.4L Battery Harness is the perfect length for the swap and directly replaces the original battery harness. The battery harness houses the main positive and negative battery cables, along with the starter trigger connection and alternator connection. This harness extension is intended for use with the battery on the front drivers side of the engine bay. This wire harness is intended for older vehicles with the 3.4L engine swap, this is not intended for a replacement for a stock 5vz application.
If a body lift is installed, please specify height. Also, please specify year and model of your vehicle in the order notes.
The Battery Cable Harness is only needed when the battery is on the LH side of the engine bay and the original battery cable harness (from donor vehicle) is missing/damaged; or when a body lift is installed.
