When performing the 3.4L swap on a Truck/4Runner originally equipped with the 22R/22R-E, these mount brackets will prepare the frame for the 3.4L V6 engine. This bracket set is intended for use with the OEM style engine-block brackets and rubber mounts, from a ’91-’95 Truck/4Runner 3VZ-FE application. The original OEM frame mounts are completely removed and these mounts are welded in their place. Installation is simple and instructions are provided. Available for ’86-’95 4×4 Truck/4Runner or ’79-’85 4×4 and 4Runner Frame applications. Please note that on ’86-’95 4×4 Truck and 4Runner applications the upper control arm frame mount must still be in place.
Note: The “’79-’85 4×4 and 4Runner” version is not intended specifically for, but will likely work well in 2WD frame applications.
